How often should the filters be replaced for my water pitcher?

Seychelle Water Pitcher filters will provide up to 150 gallons of great tasting drinking water.  Replacing your filter will depend on how much water you are using per day, as well as the turbidity of the source water. The more turbid the source water, the sooner you may need to replace.  To extend your filter life, it can be re-flushed.  Simply remove the filter from the reservoir and attach the "red flushing disk" that originally came with your purchase. Typically the filter needs to be replaced after 3 to 6 months (under normal use).  If the taste of the water has changed, it is a good indication to replace.
