Storing gently used filters for an extended period of time

To prepare filters for a prolonged storage, follow the instructions below:

In a clean container, mix half tsp of chlorine/bleach with 1 gallon of water. Flush this solution through the filter system, rinse and flush with tap water and allow to dry overnight. When the filters are completely dry, reassemble product and store until ready for reuse. After storage for an extended period of time, re-flush filter before use.
